Do you require a long term contract?
We do not require any contract. Clients are free to cancel services with us at any time.
How do you bill for your services?
We bill for the previous month’s usage, meaning our customers only pay for the services they have already used.
How reliable are your services?
We partner with Liquid Web and iHomefinder. Both of which are highly regarded as top providers in their fields. Whether you’re just having us host your website or including IDX solutions you can rest assured that we utilize two of the most reliable systems in the field.
Can I sign up without agreeing to recurring payments?
No, we do require that you sign up with a credit card on fill for subscription based payments for both web hosting and IDX. However, you can cancel services at any time without incurring additional fees.

How quickly can I expect my website to be up and running?
Most websites can be up and running within 72 hours of payment.
What if I do not like the look of my website once it is finished?
If your site does not look as you imagined contact customer service by email (crystal@skynetdesign.com) or phone (512.820.9119) and we will work to get the changes made that will make the site work for you.
Who do I contact if I have an issue with my website?

What if I already have a logo?
We have a place for that! When signing up for services you will be given the opportunity to upload your logo and we will utilizing it when creating your custom site.
Can you make over my existing website?

IDX
What is a pass-through fee?
A pass through fee is an additional charge the MLS board requires to enable the
IDX that is paid through us. Pass through fees cannot be waived.
What additional fees may apply?
Additional fees that may apply are charged by the MLS board and paid directly to them. Additional fees cannot be waived by Skynet Design.
What is an IDX and why is it important?
IDX stands for Internet Data eXchange. It’s a marketing tool that attracts consumers to your site by providing access on your site to all the listings your fellow agents and brokers have entered in your association’s MLS® System. Once visitors come to your website, you can promote your own listings and/or engage them as potential buyers of other listings in your association’s MLS® System. Our integrated lead capture features prompt consumers to submit their information to you when they come across a listing they are interested in. This will notify you immediately by email so you can follow up with new leads and further discuss their interests. One of the most important facets of iHomefinder IDX is the ability to send your clients daily email alerts about new listings that may be of interest to them. These automated emails with listing information are driven by the latest listing data from your association’s MLS® System.
How does IDX work?
IDX links to your MLS board’s listing feed allowing your clients to search for homes without leaving your website.
How is IDX different for Zillow or Trulia?
IDX allows your clients to search for listings without leaving your website.
Can I syndicate with Zillow and Trulia?
Featured listings syndication is an add-on service provided by iHomefinder by request, which sends your featured active listings (where you or your brokerage represent the seller) to websites such as Zillow and Trulia. Many brokerages and boards offer their own syndication settings for your listings, and we recommend you look into these options prior to considering our service, as sites like Zillow and Trulia prioritize direct brokerage or MLS® System data feeds. We cannot syndicate in some boards, due to local rules only allowing syndication through the MLS® System.
How do I know if you cover my MLS?

Do I have to contact be my association before I sign up for your IDX?
In most cases, no. We’ll automatically email you the IDX paperwork and instructions for your MLS® System when you sign up for a paid account. You’ll need to complete the agreement, normally with broker signature, and email it to us. We’ll then sign and email it to your board within one business day. Finally, your board will need to approve you for our IDX – which can take a couple business days after you send the paperwork back to us, or longer in some boards – before we can add listings to your site.
Can I get listing data from multiple MLS associations with your IDX?
If you belong to multiple associations that operate MLS® Systems, you can request service for additional associations at an additional cost when you sign up for an account. You can also add service for additional associations at any time after you sign up.
Do I have to be a member of a MLS to display their listing data?
Yes, our agreements with the various associations with MLS® Systems require that we only provide our IDX-based service to association members to show listings on their websites.
How often is your listing data updated?
Our listing data is updated every 2 hours for most associations’ MLS® Systems, and as frequently as every 15 minutes for some. Due the specifics of data feeds, our listing data is updated every 12 hours or every 24 hours in some cases.
Can I use my existing website with your IDX?
If you are currently using a WordPress website yes. We can install the IDX plugin on any WordPress site.
Do people viewing my site have to register?
No, there are several leaves of registration that go from zero requests to mandatory registration. You can choose the level that is right for you and your clients.
How hard is it to manage account features?
All of our account features are accessed in a control panel which is very easy to use and requires no technical skills. An extensive help system explains each feature and what the various settings do. Our friendly support staff is also here to help you if you have any questions. Unlimited support is included with all of our accounts.
